Home maintenance and repair that must be done to maintain the integrity of our home.I think that Maintaining our home is not an easy task.At the time of purchase,our home may have looked so perfect and beautiful, but with the passing of time, the leaks, cracks and stains show up, prompting us to do repair home.But it is difficult to decide which project should we do first?will it be the home roof or the home basement? What about toilet installation on so on..
so i think i have some important home maintenance and repair things in systematic way to check for and have done before we try and sell.consider Roof and Flashing of our home Make sure the roof does not leak. If leakage is occurring have it fixed immediately.and Check flashing around the chimney, walls, etc. Make sure broken shingles are replaced.Chimney: Check that the roof flashing around the chimney is in good shape and does not have any gaps or openings for water to penetrate.Our home Gutters and Downspouts are clean and flowing well. if downspouts failure water problems can occur including ground settlement resulting in cracking of the basement wall.our home brick wall is solid and in good repair. Check that the plumbing fixtures are in good working order.Check the drainage of toilets and sinks and unclog as necessary. Make sure all switches work and all outlets are properly grounded.
At last consider the furnace has clean air filters and is in good working order by performing a seasonal furnace checkup.
